今年はインドの布をたくさん持って恵文社一乗寺店さんに伺います！
ブロックプリントとは木版で版画のように色を重ねるインドの伝統的な技法。木版の継ぎ目が見えたり色むらがあったりするのが手仕事の味わいであり魅力です。現在では職人さんの高齢化もすすみ廃れつつあるブロックプリントですが、様々な木版と色彩の組み合わせで無限に模様を生みだせるこの技法を残せるよう、インドの職人さんと一緒にやっていこうと思っています。。反物は50センチから計り売りをします。
また、南インドの布地で作った新作服も展示します。肌ざわりよくさらりと風の抜ける軽い布地はこれから迎える夏に最適です。
みなさんにお会いできるのを楽しみにしています。
ちなみに５月３０日に店頭にいる予定です。

This year, we will visit Keibunsha Ichijyoji store with many Indian fabrics!
Block printing is a traditional Indian technique of layering colors on top of each other like a woodblock print. The seams of the woodblock prints and uneven colors are the charm and charm of handmade work. Although block printing is dying out due to the aging of the artisans, I would like to work with Indian artisans to preserve this technique, which can produce an infinite number of patterns by combining various woodblocks and colors. Fabrics will be sold by measure from 50 centimeters.
Also on display will be new clothes made from fabrics from South India. These lightweight fabrics that feel soft against the skin and allow the wind to blow through them are perfect for the coming summer season.
